Clawdbot was sent from the future to live in your mac mini
If you haven’t heard by now a new autonomous agent has hit the scene with the name of Clawdbot, or is it Moltbot? Either way it’s a major upgrade and an unexpectedly open source release.
Imagine if Siri actually worked and we were living in the movie Her. That’s basically what has been released. Clawdbot literally reaches out to you on its own. It’s not your standard chat bot.
While it takes a bit of setup and patience, the examples like this one are quite promising that we are approaching an era of true personal AI assistants like Jarvis. You can just send your Clawdbot a message on WhatsApp and it will do your work for you.

Claude is taking the world by storm
Everyone has been waiting for AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and there’s a chance we are getting a glimpse with Claude. You can now have it write your code, do work on your computer including slide decks and complex excel functions.
Claude Skills like Remotion have given anyone the ability to make high quality promotional videos with a simple prompt. Something that video editors around the world better incorporate into their toolbox before someone eats their lunch.
Its creators even wrote it a constitution to explain the difference between what it should and shouldn’t do. If you’re waiting for a moment to dip your toe in I think you’ve found it. 2026 is the year of AI acceleration so you might want to try and keep up.
MIT called out AI companions as a breakthrough technology of 2026
As AI proliferates our society and normalizes daily human interaction should we be worried about the impact on our psyche?
According to MIT:
Chatbots are skilled at crafting sophisticated dialogue and mimicking empathetic behavior. They never get tired of chatting. It’s no wonder, then, that so many people now use them for companionship—forging friendships or even romantic relationships.
With 72% of US teenagers using AI for companionship it begs the question how will this change our interactions with our fellow humans compared to our AI pals?

Ben Affleck doesn’t think AI is coming for Hollywood but this video disagrees
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon went on Joe Rogan recently and amongst everything they talked about they voiced their opinion that AI won’t be coming for Hollywood anytime soon due to the creative skills of humans. That might be true for the near future, but it’s changing rapidly.
The Slap is a trailer befitting a big budget movie with some of the biggest stars in entertainment. The Rock opens by slapping the sh*t out of Timothy Chalamet to the surprise of John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson.
If that sentence alone doesn’t intrigue you enough to check out the rest of the trailer I’m not sure what will. It uses Higgsfield AI which has become a dark horse making waves in the generative video space with it’s iterative releases producing higher quality content.
Isometric.nyc is one of the most interesting examples of using Google’s Nano Banana and coding agents
The website is a giant pixel art replica of New York City and I mean the entire city. The creator states that they didn’t write a single line of code and I believe them.
Check it out and see how incredibly detailed this digital twin of NYC really is.

We got another look at the Steam Frame VR Headset
In this quick video on X a developer is discussing how the headset is great for building software. He praises the comfort and ease of taking it on and off to continue iterating on his work and jumping right back into the experience to test his changes.
We still don’t know the price of the headset yet but with many speculating that it will be on the higher end it will be interesting to see the public’s response.

As the latest iteration of the Quest’s operating system navigation goes live it will also commence the gradual sunsetting of the Horizon Feed. This comes alongside Reality Labs layoffs and Boz’s recent statements about “letting VR be what it is and what it does great”.

Are you feeling the acceleration? We aren’t even covering everything we could because the newsletter would be too long. Perhaps in the future we’ll break it out into different industry-based newsletters and you can follow the ones you want and we can get more granular with the details and increase the number of stories we tell. Let us know if that would be interesting and which industry you’d like to hear about the most.
Every week AI’s intelligence gets upgraded, new features added and even dark horse announcements of new models that are smarter and cheaper than the competition. Clawdbot took over our my feed for a few days as people were getting it set up in its own sandbox with no guardrails whatsoever. This is a strong showing from the open source community. There is going to be a battle over the future of intelligence between open and closed source developers. It feels like a great plot of a movie and we’re smack dab in the middle of it.
Flying cars are part of serious conversation with demonstrations in the next 18-24 months in multiple countries. While we find the concept exciting it still feels a little scary to get into a giant drone and fly across the sky and land safely. Speaking of staying alive, longevity research is also picking up. We haven’t given this too much attention but it deserves to be on your radar. There are many others besides Bryan Johnson that don’t want to die. Like us.
