Our vision

With CES on the horizon we’re excited to see what announcement the conference brings in the start of the new year. Robotics is sure to be a hit and I’m sure there will be new spatial computing, biotech and dark horses that stir up the news and make some waves.

Acquisition season seems to be in full effect as Meta scoops up Manus while partnerships are formed between giants like Adobe and Runway to put more AI enhancements into the hands of creatives. There’s AI slop and then there are talented professionals that will become more effective and produce works that they could have only imagined with previous tooling.

OpenAI’s head of preparedness job opening is an interesting signal. Does it mean they are close to scaring the public with one of their products? Do they want competitors to think that while they are actually years away from something that would accelerate the rate of change again? 2026 is surely shaping up to be an interesting year where we are all holding onto the pace of progress and trying to keep up.

Tomorrow we’ll be sending out our 2026 Technology Playbook with our predictions on what to expect across industries. This will take into account recent news but also all the major predictions from industry professionals and trusted publications.
